About Brenda Pulvermacher

Using Craniosacral Therapy (CST), Brenda Pulvermacher is able to tap into our original blue-print for health that began manifesting at conception and is with us all our life. It is especially effective in helping with the common difficulties of the newborn. In a normal vaginal birth, which believe it or not for some women is an ecstatic experience, the infant’s body undergoes spiraling compressive forces that ignite the first breath and begin the process of incarnation into the living breathing human form. The infant requires the presence of a grounded calm person to receive them and to assist in their orientation. When the infant is securely and lovingly received, the unfolding of the compressive forces will begin immediately. We are finding that the self attachment sequence promotes successful breastfeeding.

Brenda Pulvermacher has been involved in the healing arts for over twenty-five years. A native of Saskatchewan, her commitment to Craniosacral Therapy emerged after exploring a number of therapies in the health care field while living on Quadra Island and in Vancouver.  She trained as an Emergency Medical Assistant, a peer counselor, a Healing Touch, Chi Nei Tsang, and medical Chi Gong practitioner. In addition she trained and worked for many years as a Registered Shiatsu Therapist with the province of British Columbia. She is a  Registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist ( RCST) and an Upledger Certified  Craniosacral Therapist ( CST).  She has participated in and assisted advanced courses specializing in pediatric and infant CST.

Craniosacral Therapy helps us access our integral embryological forces for health.

It is extremely relaxing and restorative. While improving general health it helps us gain a greater capacity to sense our body and its relationship to mind and spirit thus becoming more grounded in the present.

I was recently involved in a high speed motor vehicle accident on the freeway. I came to see Brenda for a craniosacral treatment straight from the hospital, which supported me very effectively to release trauma and anesthesia held in my muscles and tissues. I did a few follow up sessions, which helped me re-align my body and accelerated my recovery significantly. Brenda’s caring presence is a big resource in a time filled with pain and discomfort. Thank you, Brenda!
